How the private coach works
Powered by Apple Intelligence
Unlooped's private coach uses Apple Intelligence — Apple's on-device AI system. This means your conversations are processed entirely on your iPhone's neural engine. No data is sent to any server, ever.
Context-aware responses
Your coach understands your habit history, current streaks, and patterns — all processed locally. When you say "I'm struggling today," it knows your context and responds appropriately. But that understanding never leaves your device.
What about older devices?
Apple Intelligence requires an iPhone 15 Pro or newer with iOS 26. On older devices, you still get a coach — it just responds with helpful pre-written messages instead of personalized AI responses. Everything else (tracking, widgets, insights) works the same.
